Scholarship for Frederick County, Maryland residents who are undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Hood College. Students must have graduated from Frederick Community College, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, have an active interest in Frederick County history, citing volunteer experiences with local history/preservation organizations and/or research projects conducted as a part of academic coursework. Selection is based on academic promise, community service, extracurricular activities, financial need, and character. Number of awards and award amount may vary. A personal statement must be included with application packet.
