Scholarship for incoming freshmen or transfer students enrolling at Western Illinois University who will be majoring in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading. Incoming freshmen must have a minimum ACT score of 25 and graduate in the top 25% of class. Transfer students must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and 30 credit hours. Financial need is considered. Preference given to residents of McDonough County. Number of awards may vary. Nonrenewable.
