Annual award for undergraduate senior attending Missouri State University, enrolled in Theatre and Dance. Applicant must have participated as a performer in departmental activities and intend to enter the professional performing field. Candidate must have ability to translate actions of author's words into a physical and emotional response; a voice and body which is adaptable to each character and performance space; the ability to bring a real stage character to life; a sense of style and type of play in various periods of drama; and dedication to the importance of the art in humanity. Due date and award amount varies.
