Scholarship for eligible minority students who are enrolled full-time in a degree (minimum of 12 credit hours) or certificate (minimum of 24 clock hours per week) program at a state university, public community college, or public postsecondary vocational-technical school. Student must not have previously received a bachelor's degree, and must demonstrate financial need (FAFSA required); Florida residents must submit the FAFSA in time to be processed by May 15, non-Florida residents must submit their Student Aid Report (SAR) by May 15. Students who are direct descendants of African-American Rosewood families affected by the incidents of January 1923 will receive priority. It is expected that all available scholarships will be awarded to Rosewood descendants. Award renewable if 12 credit hours per term or 80% of the clock hours for which the recipient enrolled are earned with a minimum 2.0 CGPA.
