Annual fellowships for undergraduate students enrolled full-time at the University of Hawaii in Manao or Hilo. Students must be U.S. citizens and be sponsored by a University of Hawaii at Manao or Hilo faculty member willing to act as the student's mentor during the award period. Selection is based on academic qualifications, quality of proposed research/study, appropriateness of proposed research to NASA's goals, and feasibility of proposed research/study within the planned academic time frame. Number of awards may vary. An abstract and proposal must be included with application packet. Renewable.
