Scholarship for Alaska residents (from Alakanuk, Emmonak, Grayling, Kotlik, Mountain Village, Nunam Iqua, Pitka's Point, St. Mary's, Pilot Station, Marshall, Russian Mission, Holy Cross, Anvik, and Shageluk) who are undergraduate or graduate students attending the University of Alaska Anchorage part- or full-time. Applicants must demonstrate a subsistence and/or commercial fishing relationship to the Lower Yukon Delta region. Candidates must submit proof of residency by means of school transcript or letters from the city or tribal council and a copy of a commercial fishing license and/or a commercial crew license. Number of awards and award amount varies. Renewable; must maintain 2.5 GPA.
