Annual award for a master's or graduate student attending the University of Rhode Island-Kingston majoring in Oceanography. Preference given to a woman demonstrating the spirit and ingenuity of Ada Sawyer. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and be in good standing with the university. Selection is based on demonstrated financial need. Due date and award amount varies.
