Annual fellowships for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a postsecondary institution studying a field relevant to epilepsy research or clinical care. (e.g. Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Anthropology, Nursing, Economics, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, and Political Science). Applicants must conduct the research in the U.S.. Selection is based on quality of proposed project, relevance of the proposed work to epilepsy, applicant's interest in the field of epilepsy, applicant's qualifications, mentor's qualifications, including his/her commitment to the student and the project, adequacy of facility and the quality of the training environment for research related to epilepsy. Students who are women, members of minority groups, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply. A description of proposed project, a letter from preceptor, and a curriculum vitae from applicant and preceptor must be included with application packet. Number of awards may vary.
