Scholarship for members of the Black River Electric Cooperative (BREC) residing in the nine-county service area consisting of parts of Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Dent, Iron, Madison, Perry, Reynolds, Shannon and Wayne Counties, Missouri who are undergraduate students attending Southeast Missouri State University. Selection based on academic ability, character and financial need. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipient may receive the award for one additional semester. No student may receive the award for more than two successive terms. Number of awards and award amount varies.
