Annual fellowships for Ph.D or Th.D candidates in doctoral programs in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences at graduate schools in the U.S.. Students must be in the writing stage of their dissertation and expect to complete it during the one year tenure of the fellowship. A dissertation abstract, proposal, bibliography, and timetable must be included with application packet. Nonrenewable.
