Scholarship for California Cattlemen's Association members who are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at a postsecondary institution in California. Students must have a minimum 2.5 CGPA, financial need, demonstrate leadership, and be pursuing a career associated with the beef cattle industry, such as, Genetics, Cattle Production, Nutrition, Trade, Agricultural Communications, Agriculture Education and Professional Services, Marketing, Lending or other related fields. Applicants must be Young Cattlemen members and seeking to serve in the agriculture industry in communications. An interview is required. Number of awards and award amount may vary. A wallet sized photograph must be included with application packet. Nonrenewable; recipients may reapply.
