Annual award for undergraduate students who are residents of a "Southern" state, (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Virginia, Arkansas, Texas, Mississippi, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Oklahoma, West Virginia or Delaware) and are in the second or third year at an accredited bachelor degree program in Journalism or a food related curriculum. Selection is based on financial need and aptitude. An essay must be included with application packet.
