Internships for full-time freshmen or sophomores attending a community college who are interested in research relating to Energy-production, use, conservation, and societal implications. Applicants must be pursuing studies in Computer Science, Earth Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Life Science, Mathematics, Marine Science, Medical Science, Health Science, or Physical Science. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required. Internship applicable at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee for 10 weeks during the summer. Award is a bi-weekly stipend with limited travel reimbursement and limited housing allowance. Due date and number of awards may vary.
