Scholarship for Frederick County, Maryland residents who are undergraduate students enrolled full-time at a postsecondary institution majoring in Secondary Education or Applied Visual Sciences. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, have attended Frederick Community College, and must prove a desire to better their community. Selection is based on academic promise, community service, extracurricular activities, financial need, and character. Preference given to students majoring in the Sciences, with emphasis in Biology. Consideration given to Chemistry or Physics majors. Number of awards and award amount may vary.
