Annual award for a college senior attending Iowa State University pursuing a degree in Animal Science or a related curriculum. Applicants must have a strong background in 4-H and/or FFA beef breeding projects and a strong emphasis in beef cattle while at ISU. Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate leadership in activities in 4-H and/or FFA and at ISU. Consideration is given to livestock judging activities and a desire to remain active in the livestock industry after graduation. An essay must be included with application packet.
