Annual award for incoming freshmen students attending Carlow College full-time, majoring in Education. Students are selected after evaluation of these criteria: Quality GPA of 3.0; rank in graduating class; SAT and/or ACT scores; three letters of recommendation (two must be from teachers and at least one should speak to the applicant's experience working with children); essay stating reason you chose teaching; and an on-campus interview. Interviews will be conducted on Scholarship Day in March, which applicants must attend. Financial need is not a factor. Renewable.
