Annual award for undergraduate students enrolled full-time at a postsecondary institution. Students must be studying subjects in relation to synthesis and processing, structure, properties, and performance of electronic, photonic, magnetic, and superconducting materials as well as materials used in packaging and interconnecting such materials in device structures. Applicants must be Material Advantage program members and/or be applying for membership at the same time. Selection is based on academic achievement, school and extracurricular activities, and leadership. Preference given to college juniors or seniors who are in a program that includes the study of electronic materials. A personal statement must be included with application packet.
