Annual award for South Asian Indian or descendants of a South Asian Indian immigrant who are Pennsylvania residents enrolled full-time at an accredited Pennsylvania medical school. Students must be Pennsylvania residents for a minimum of 12 months before registering as medical students (not including undergraduate or graduate school in Pennsylvania) and be entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of medical school. An interview may be required. An essay and proof of full-time enrollment must be included with application packet.
