Annual award for undergraduate or graduate student attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, majoring in Physics/Astronomy. At discretion of Physics Department, award is given as scholarship or as recognition of accomplished activity. Applicants must have one or more of the following: a) successful completion of several astronomy courses, b) instructor for astronomy class or lab, c) knowledge of current textbook, or d) activity in setting up or maintaining the technical or physical aspects of the astronomy program.
