Annual award for students who are pursuing a career in the technical aspects of Broadcasting at a post-secondary institution. Preference will be given to applicants who already have experience working in the field and/or are Society of Broadcasting members. In addition to the application, the student must submit a recommendation by two members of the Society of Broadcast Engineers. Applicants who do not know any members may contact the national SBE office to locate members in their area. Recipients must submit a technical paper of 400-500 words after completion of technical training. Nonrenewable.
