Annual award for Chatham, Durham, Orange, or Wake County, North Carolina residents who are pre-doctoral students enrolled at Duke University, North Carolina Central University, North Carolina State University, or the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing research work in the Health Sciences. Students must be entering their second year of graduate school. Applicants must have worked to help others with alcoholism, drug abuse, and addictive disorder treatment or with preventive education onf the subject of addition. Number of awards and award amount may vary.
