Annual award for college juniors or seniors who are enrolled in a Missouri college/university pursuing studies leading to a degree in Education. Applicant must have the intent to teach in a rural school district in Missouri. Selection based on academic achievement (minimum 2.5 GPA), an essay, leadership ability, and potential for success as a rural teacher. Award amount may vary. Nonrenewable; but recipients may reapply for one additional year.
