Scholarship for graduate students attending Emporia State University full-time. Students assist in offering semester-long intensive instruction to international students who need to improve their English proficiency prior to beginning a regular course of study at ESU. Applicants must be native speakers of English, or have native speaker fluency as shown by a TOEFL score of 550 or above, and the ability to pass the SPEAK exam given at ESU. Preference given to those who have had English as a second language training or intend to pursue coursework in English, education, library science, counseling or foreign language. Due date varies. Award amount may include full tuition waiver with financial stipend.
