Annual award for Puerto-Rican descent student who is a junior or senior at Brooklyn College-CUNY in New York. Applicants must be academically promising, contemplating a career in the helping professions (i.e. education, social work, psychology or counseling) and have financial need. Consideration will be given to other candidate of hispanic background if no Puerto Rican candidate is identified. Due date and award amount varies.
