Annual award for an African American student, with an interest in journalism or media, enrolled in a graduate degree program in Print, Broadcast, Online, Photojournalism, Communications or Public Relations. Applicants must be San Francisco Bay Area (California) residents OR out-of-state students enrolled in a Bay Area college/university OR natives of the Bay Area attending school out of state. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. A personal essay and work samples must be included with application packet.
