Annual award for an African American student who is a college junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Photojournalism. Undergraduate applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; graduate students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Submitted application packet must include work samples and a personal essay including the following: Accomplishments; career goals; interest in the field of journalism; how/why the scholarship can help you; what will you do to impact the Bay Area as a Journalist.
