Annual award for African American students who hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university that plan to enroll in a doctoral program at one of the ten participating Florida universities to study Arts & Sciences, Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Nursing, Visual & Performing Arts, Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Marine Biology, Mathematics, Physics or Psychology. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen. Recipients of this award must agree to seek a professional position at a four-year Florida university following graduation. Currently enrolled doctoral students are not eligible to apply.
