Scholarship for undergraduate and graduate students attending the University of Alaska-Anchorage full-time majoring in Sociology or a Social Science field. Applicants should have completed at least thirty (30) credits prior to the start of the fall semester. Candidates must be in good academic standing and have a minimum 2.5 GPA for undergraduates; and 3.0 for graduate students. Students must demonstrate involvement in a project or area of study that reflects commitment to social justice, peace, equality and/or empowerment of minorities. Number of awards and award amount varies.
