Internships for minority undergraduate and graduate students at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. in research and museum projects in various fields. Project fields are in: Animal Behavior, Ecology, Environmental Science, Anthropology, Archaeology, Astrophysics, Astronomy, Earth Sciences, Paleobiology, Evolutionary and Systematic Biology, History of Science and Technology, History of Art, Social and Cultural History of the United States, and Folklife. Internships are full-time (40 hours per week), for 10 week appointments in the summer, fall, or spring. Stipends are $400 per week and travel allowances may be included. Due dates are: Summer/Fall-February 1st; Spring-October 15th. Number of awards may vary. Nonrenewable.
