Scholarship for Illinois residents who are of African American, Hispanic American, Asian American, or Native American origin. Full-time undergraduate students who have a 2.5 CGPA and are enrolled in a Teacher Education Program or teacher certification program at an approved Illinois college/university may apply. Must not have received a bachelor's degree, PDT Scholarship simultaneously, or have defaulted on any student loan. Recipients must agree to teach at preschool, elementary or secondary level at specific Illinois schools and must fulfill teaching agreement or repay scholarship as a loan with interest. Mar. 1 is priority deadline.
