Scholarship for African American/Black students permanently residing in the US who are third- or fourth-year students enrolled at an AAMC or AOA-accredited Medical School. Students must be U.S. citizens, and demonstrate financial need, journalistic skills, academic achievement, community service, and potential for outstanding contributions to medicine. Samples of work and an essay must be included with application packet. Nonrenewable.
