Scholarship for incoming freshmen or transfer students enrolling at Western Illinois University who are majoring in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading. Incoming freshmen must have a minimum ACT score of 23 and graduate in the top 25% of class. Transfer students must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and 30 credit hours. Preference given to the residents of one of the 27 counties in west central Illinois. Number of awards may vary. Nonrenewable.
