Annual award for female residents of Wayne, Oakland or Macomb counties, Michigan who are single mothers that wish to attend Wayne State University, the University of Michigan, or the Catholic University Law School in Washington, D.C.. Applicants must have demonstrated financial need; show efforts to contribute to household and educational expenses through employment or strong effort to gain employment; have exemplary character and leadership; and demonstrate academic ability to successfully complete post-secondary education. Priority is given to full-time students, but part-time students may also be considered. Nonrenewable.
