Award for a graduate student who is a member of the Special Libraries Association pursuing a PH.D. in Library Science, Information Science or a related field. Applicants must have worked in a special library, have dissertation topic approval, and show evidence of high academic achievement, and financial need. Preference is given to students who display an aptitude for and interest in special library work. An essay must be included with application packet.
