Internships awarded to college seniors or graduate students majoring in Journalism or a Law student with a journalism background. Internships are located at the SPJ Headquarters in Indiana and Washington D.C. at the law offices of Baker & Hostetler. An essay on Freedom of Information issues and writing samples must be included with application packet. Internships are for a 10 week period during the summer. Award is in the form of a weekly stipend. Nonrenewable.
