Annual award for African American, Mexican American, Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian and mainland Puerto Rican students permanently residing in the US who are senior year students at an AAMC or AOA-accredited Medical School. Students must be pursuing studies leading to an M.D. or D.O., be U.S. citizens, and demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and potential to make significant contributions to medicine.
