Annual fellowships for graduate students to do dissertation research in India to advance the knowledge and understanding of the people and their culture. Applicant must have a minimum of two years study regarding India, knowledge of the language of India, and must be a U.S. citizen. Fellowships up to eleven months are available. Due date, award amount and number of awards may vary. Nonrenewable.
