Annual award for legal residents of one of the following counties: Houston, Geneva, Covington, Coffee, Dale, Henry, Pike or Barbour; or a student that was employed or volunteered in a healthcare facility in one of these counties; or the child or grandchild of an active or former member of the Southeast Dietetic Association that is a junior or senior undergraduate student, graduate student or dietetic intern. Student must be majoring in the field of Human Nutrition, Dietetics, Foods, Nutrition or Food Systems Management, and must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Selection is based on academic achievement, potential in the field of dietetics and nutrition, leadership, financial need, letters of recommendation, and letter of application. Submit original application and three copies. Due date and number of awards varies.
