Scholarship for elementary and secondary classroom teachers and counselors who are employed at public schools in California and are continuing their education at a college or university in California. Teachers must be PTA members and have been employed full-time for a minimum of three years. Counselors must have a counseling position at a PTA/PTSA school and have been employed at least half-time for a minimum of three years. Awards are for advanced summer study in any field, including counseling and guidance, to enhance teaching/counseling capabilities to teachers/counselors currently employed. Number of awards may vary.
