Scholarship for college juniors or seniors majoring in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics with an interest in Ocean Sciences, Oceanographic Engineering or Marine Policy. Fellowships are offered for the following fields: Applied Ocean Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Geology, Geo-physics, Mathematics, Meteorology, Physics, Biology, Oceanography, or Marine Policy. Awards are in the form of a summer fellowship tenable at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). Each fellowship pursues a 10-12 week independent research project under the guidance of a member of the WHOI Research Department. Submit 3 letters of recommendation, college transcripts/records, and a statement of the applicant's research interests with application packet. Number of awards may vary.
