Annual award for female medical or osteopathic medical student who is a member of the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) attending an accredited United States medical school. Applicants must be mid-way through the first year, or in the second or third year of medical school. Selection based mostly on community service. A letter from student's Dean, a personal essay, two letters of recommendation, and two personal references must be included with application packet.
