Scholarship for female minority students who are undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university majoring in Geoscience in Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia or West Virginia. Students must be nominated and demonstrate awareness of the importance of community outreach by participation in Geoscience or Earth-Science education activities that reflect the Association for Women Geoscientists's (AWG) goals and potential for leadership as a future Geoscience professional. A personal letter must be included with application packet.
