Application has two parts. First part is: Perform 25 hours of community service to the mentally retarded OR write a (up to 500 word) essay on "What It Means to Have Mental Retardation." Part Two is: Interview two mental retardation professionals and submit a summary of the interview, OR read two non-fiction books on mental retardation and submit a book report.
