Description The aBetterEarth Essay Contest is available to undergraduate or graduate students. You must read the letter on the sponsor's site and submit an essay of 600 to 2,500 words on the following topic: Assess the letter writers' allegation that the Endangered Species Act has failed. What was the ESA's goal and by what measures has it succeeded or failed? What incentives were created by the ESA and how have those incentives affected the ESA's success or failure? What approach to protecting endangered species would you propose and what are the shortcomings and advantages of your solution?
