Summary: To provide financial assistance for college to the children of members of the New Hampshire Department of the American Legion or American Legion Auxiliary.

Eligibility: Open to applicants who can submit evidence of 1) a parent's current membership in a New Hampshire post of the American Legion or unit of the American Legion Auxiliary, 2) residence in New Hampshire for at least 3 years, 3) acceptance to an accredited college or university, 4) a GPA of 3.0 or higher in their junior and senior high school years, and 5) financial need.

Financial data: The stipend is $1,000. Duration: 1 year.

Number awarded: 1 each year. Deadline: April of each year.
